– Commission issued guidelines regarding advertisements

The Commission has said that before publishing and broadcasting advertisements through news media, it should be ensured that they have morality and decency and do not hurt anyone's religious sentiments.
The Commission has issued clear guidelines that no advertisement should be published which ridicules any caste, religion, colour, creed and nationality. Any advertisement which is against any provision of the Constitution should not be published or broadcast. Similarly, he has a tendency to commit crime, violence or instigate people, shows obscenity of any kind, disrespects the national emblem, is insulting or ridicules women in any way, issues like dowry, child marriage etc. Advertisements related to people taking advantage of social evils etc. should not be published or broadcasted.
