The Art of the Maker: Our Core Disciplines
Our workshops are home to a diverse guild of master craftsmen, each specializing in a heritage technique passed down through generations:
Intricate Inlay (Bone & Tarkashi): We are masters of the legendary Jodhpur bone inlay process, where ethically sourced bone is hand-cut into complex geometric and floral motifs and set into rich resin. We also preserve the rare art of Tarkashi, the delicate hammering of fine brass wire into dense Sheesham wood to create brilliant, flush patterns.
Traditional Woodcarving: Using dense, sustainably sourced woods like Sheesham (Indian Rosewood), Acacia, and Teak, our carvers use traditional chisels and mallets to create deep, architectural relief carvings inspired by historic palace.
