Poem Review And Comparison

The poem conjures certain imaginations in the mind of the reader. Picture “untrodden ways” (line 1), and paths so remote that no one walks on them.” William succeeds in creating a mental scene of a nature scene, something pretty and fragile (violets), and something that will never change (stone). HE also presents the maid as a unique character (one star in the sky).
